    that is what he was asking Mike, what will his ratio be with his specific machine, that is what the chart tells. Unless i am missing something from his question. If you use the M5 with no proportioner using a 3gpm machine your ration will be 1.2 gallons water to 1 gallon of soap. Hope this helps

    I could write alot about this stuff. My wife and i try to be pretty healthy. One of the things that really put us in gear was looking into colon cleansing, if you look into it you will want to use your power washer for an all new purpose. We eat all organic and natural foods and grow as much as we can in our garden. It can get expensive and it is harder to stay alive than it is to die. I can forward info to anyone who wants to do some searching. Great post to get started.

    Nope, not going to walk pulling 10000 lbs of equipment. If horses were allowed on the freeway i might have some alternatives. Not looking to be shamed for looking to experienced contractors if they have had any luck with an alternative to bleach. I know what your getting at though Barry, there will always be a negative to every positive.

    I understand it is extremely effective at killing mold and such, I know it is bad for me, water, the ground and pretty much everything else. I know to pretect myself and plants and so one but even diluted i just wonder what any long term negatives are. I have heard of oxginated bleach that is not nearly as bad but dont know if it is as effective. Just wondering if there are any other alternatives. thanks for the replies

    I am about an hour east of Minneapolis/St. paul. We are on the west central edge of the state. I need to edit my profile, when i registered my company and first got started i had planned on setting up a box van with a conventional sand blast system for doing what ever work needed to be done. My great uncle does highway work and he said there is a huge demand for sandblasting for paint prep on bridges ect.... so that is where my idea originated and i still may do it, we will see how the powerwashing goes. I will definately do it if i can find a good employee to keep busy everyday.

    Roger, i think if a cat tried getting in the tree with me, that would be the end of my hunting for a while, anything that stalks and hunts me scares me.....lol How did you get rid of it?

    thanks for the compliments! It is definately relaxing after working all day. We just sanded the wood really well and put a satin finish polyurethane one it. It is all Maple wood. You could shoot a deer out either window on any given day, or a turkey or a pheasant and on a few rare occasions even a bear. Havnt seen any cats but you can hear them scream at night, that is a bone chilling sound when they get going.

    My uncle is a pro walleye fisherman and he has a Ranger boat with a 225 hp E-Tec and he loves it. Granted he is sponsored by both of the companies. He won the world championship in 2004 and was angler of the year last year.

    Nick Johnson is his name if anybody follows fishing at all, he has done a few fishing shows on some of the outdoor channels. Anyway he said the motor is great and wouldnt want anyother due to warranties and that the new 4 stroke motors cant hang with the 2 strokes. He was the first to win a championship with an evinrude motor. Yup that is my story

    thanks jeff. The building is 995 linear feet second story, 2000 sq ft of concrete and 1500 of it is a load dock so it is pretty dirty, almost black and 1235 linear feet of second story painted steel beams, just a bare structure. Oh and the building is all brick, only one side is moldy but all sides have a few black streaks below vents and other objects that hang on the building. I know markets are all different but maybe a ballpark figure or how you guys would bid it out. You can PM me or email at jesseandkim@chibardun.net

    I have the #5 nozzles for my machine, are you saying that changing the size of these nozzles is how you achieve this, so a #4 will give less pressure. If I am reading into this correctly wouldnt this put to much stress on the unloader, wouldnt it always be bypassing water.

    As far as the ladder stuff goes, here is what i gather

    If your comfortable spraying off a ladder go ahead and do it, if your not, dont. Am I close.

    I hate to ask but what are the 0010, 0040 tips that are talked about, maybe these would help me as right now the only tool i really have is a X-Jet M5. I have the 4 tips that came with the washer but i can only assume these are not what your talking about, and also how do you know that your using only 1500 psi, I have no adjustment on my machine, do you just go by the distance from the surface and just guess the pressure. I know, i have alot to learn, I can say i have from this, i didnt think my embarrasing questions would turn into 4 pages of very informative reading. thanks to all
