Steel eagle also makes a very durable surface cleaner. I have two that I use regularly and they have lasted for 10 and 8 years with very little maint.
  2. Oh Boy

3 girls here as well (she said it not me). Congrats.
  3. PW problems

Is the motor just stopping or are you not getting water? All pumps will pull water to a certain extent weather it is belt or direct drive. Check to see that you do not have an obstruction in the tank or the inlet filter in on the pump. Also make sure the connections are tight and no air is getting in the system. If your motor is stopping check the oil level, it may have a low oil shutdown. If you have a Honda engine check the gas cap, you may be getting a vapor lock from a bad cap. Just take the cap off or loosen it and see if it runs ok. Check your air filter to make sure you are not starving the machine of air. Otherwise? Need some more info. Good luck if you need more help you can call.
  4. Two thumbs up for Talladega Nights!

My wife and I are gooing to see it tonight, she has been talking about it for a week. I'm looking forward to seeing it too. I'm glad to hear that it is funny.
  5. What it costs to be in business.

Sorry to hear about your ankle, I hope it heals fast. To me the most important insurance thet we have is the health insurance. I have all of my employees set up with HSA's and I for the most part require them to get it. It may cost me a bit more in expenses but I would hate to see them loose everything should somthing unfortunate happen. You never know when somthing like this will happen and while workers comp will cover you if it happens at work what happens when your goofing around with your friends playing football on Sunday and you break your leg? The continual rise of expenses has always been a challange to adjust for, becoming more efficient is always helpful but that only goes so far. Shop around look for good deals on products and buy quality, a few dollas more now may save you tenfold later. Sometimes you just have to give those small price increase occasionally to stay in business and support a family. If you are able to provide quality, reliability, and value customers will recognise that and you will succeed.

  8. Need help removing old floor epoxy.

I would talk to some flooring guys, they will use that tipe of equip to remove the glue from old catpet and tile sometimes and they could give you an idea about how long it usually takes. Or try a concrete grinding/leveling company?
  9. Water damage inside - Oh No

I was just typing the same thing and it wouldn't let me post. Definately pre seal the stain, and you more than likely will have to paint the entire ceiling unless it has been painted recently. Thats really a stinker, Good luck.
  10. Days like today

There is nithing like a fresh 3-4" of snow and an empty lot. Untill you've been out plowing for 3 days straight.
  11. Screens

Light pressure, mild soap. If they are alum screens some mild alum brightner and light brushing will work well and bring back the new look.
  12. New Bleachers Covered In Mud!!

I'm glad it worked out easy for you. Your soil must be pretty sandy because the clay around here is real difficult to remove. I hope you can get those buildings and walks, it seems like a great account. You should see about cleaning the bleachers after games, could be some quick money?
  13. Need help removing old floor epoxy.

If the original epoxy was applied correctly you may have to grind it off. Otherwise you may try a rotator nozzle on the loose stuff if it is flaking.
  14. m-5 pics before and after

I was thinking the same thing as Speck Chaser. Nice work.
  15. New Bleachers Covered In Mud!!

Your price sounds pretty fair, not too bad for a couple evenings of work. I just did a 40,000 sq ft building like this in the spring where I had to clean all of the beams off. You may find it easier and faster to try and clean it in two stages. First just get the mud wet again and let it soak up the water. When the mud softens a bit and is still wet you should be able to blast it off much easier with your x-jet or a zero degree from the ground. The problem you will have with that method is you will get some lines in the bleachers where the spray pattern does not come in direct contact with the mud areas. It is also difficult to hit all of the areas quickly and evenly. If you want to do a better, more even job with less fatigue on your operator I would reccommend using a lift. You will stay drier and you will be able to do a much better job. You will be able to use a shorter wand with a 15 degree tip that is easier to control and you wont have to stare up at such a sharp angle for long periods of time. That is what I ended up doing and it went much faster and allowed me to use less water in the long run. The whole job ended up taking me about 18 hours with one guy. That included working in the mud on an uneven surface and getting the lift stuck about 10 times. When you do the top try spraying towards the sides of the bleachers insted of down, you may be able to force a lot of the water and mud off the side where you dont have to worry about it.
  16. Anyone have a good blast lately?

What is dry ice blasting I have never heard of it? Does it work well and what type of application would you use it on?
  17. 20 Ways To Maintain A Healthy Level Of Insanity

    Wow, my sides hurt!!
  18. Depending on how much coil is left (rusted out) and location you may be able to save it. If you have been running chemicals through it the coil might be thin and I would reccommend replaceing it. Better to do the job right one time instead of twice, down time is a killer.
  19. housewash without bleach

I use premier when I wash homes without bleach. It does a nice job of releasing the mildew and does not kill the plants. It also does an excellent job of removing the oxidation from the surface.
  20. Espec

Aww Ken you're making me blush.
  21. mineral spirits on asphalt

What I have seen some asphalt guys do is torch out the stain. They get a torch attachment for a propane tank (Home depot or others) and heat the asphalt to burn off the excess the oils in the surface and prep it for sealing. The area they heat will darken a little and it will help to blend the coloring. You wont be able to have it match the old asphalt that will take time and weathering, but you can blend the stain a little and remove the excess surface oils. It may be worth a try?
  22. Espec

Yes, I do have a website, www.mobicleaninc.com. Order anytime, if you don't see what you need or can't find it just call or email and I will locate it for you.
  23. Size of your trailer

John, I don't know if you have looked at any Hydrblaster trailers. You can build them in many different ways and add tons of items and different size tanks. They are really a top quality trailer and built to order. Also if you want any racks and storage built into them they do that as well. Take a look at their website www.hydroblaster.com and you can see some they have built. If you need more info I would be happy to help or I could find out who your local distributor is. As far a trucks go I have a 16' GMC topkick that I use, it has been quite reliable and allows me to carry 1500 gallons of water. It only seats 3 though. I have had a Mitsuibishi FUSO before and a HINO, both were good trucks and are available in crew cabs. Just dont overload them, they are expensive to repair.
  24. Sonic Boom(s)

The landig was really cool, they had a camera on the shuttle so you could see what the pilots were seeing. Russ is right, they couldn't see the runway untill just before they landed, and they had to do a turn to line up with the correct runway so you could see the shuttle making a banked turn in the clouds. It was one of the first I have seen in many many years, really cool. Sorry you missed it, mayby NASA has a replay on their site, or FOX.
  25. Teeing off (not golf)

It can be done if you are running a trap unloader, the excess water will be sent ino bypass when you install the smaller tip. Take your tip size and cut it in half, one for each gun. When you are running both machines you will get your full 6gpm( 3gpm per machine), when you are running 1 you will still only have 3gpm and the other 3 will be in bypass. to get the full flow you will need to change the tip back to the rated size. You will not be able to run a duall gun with a flow unloader such as a K7 though. If you want to see how one is set up look at the dual man pressure washer on my website, www.mobicleaninc.com or give me a call and I can help you with the setup.
