Ipe and Brazillian Cherry furniture...

Question

We just complete a deck made of ipe and they had a variety of furniture. Some of it was made from a combination of Ipe and Brazilian Cherry. The frame is ipe, the slats for the back of the seats, the seats themselves and the table top are Brazilian Cherry. They were finished with Wood Tux in Western Cedar. The Pergola is ipe and was finished with Wood Tux Western Cedar as well. Owner is thrilled.

That's a good question. I remember our first year we washed tons of townhouse decks. Second year we began to land more single family homes, so larger jobs.

Germantown certainly has no shortage of townhouse decks. I see its been pretty hot up there lately. Nothing quite like 95+ degrees and sitting in a 3 hour traffic jam that stretches from Bethesda to Walkersville to end the day.

Can't say I miss it one bit.
