Lightning Gene 66 Report post Posted August 31, 2007 Just bought a 300 ft Cox hose reel and was wondering if I have to buy 250 ft of hose or can I couple 2 together and roll them on with no problems?
0 squirtgun 122 Report post Posted August 31, 2007 Coupling them together works fine.
0 One Tough Pressure 580 Report post Posted September 1, 2007 It sometimes helps to roll the coupling diagonal across the reel so it does not stick out as much.

0 Tmrrptr 164 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 Pressure hose anywhere is expensive to buy. Ditto that ! I'm watching for the next sale on 4k non marking 100 fters. Could we try a co-op buy and see what our favorite vendors can do ? r
0 One Tough Pressure 580 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 I use 1/2" R2 hose and that stuff is the most expensive when compared to all the other stuff that is normally used. I found the best deal to be just under $300.00 for a 100 foot section and it last quite a while even with me dragging it with the truck on long centers. When I used Good year Neptune R2 4500, I paid around $125.00 for a 100 foot section. I loved that hose but there is to much restriction with 8 gpm.
