There is no in between. YOu are right that if the govt stayed out the market would work. The govt tells companies that they have to cover certain things, or in some states, all things, and the prices go up. This is the reason costs have risen no much and some cant afford it, and some just wont pay to get it. Get the govt out of health care. let the market work.
