Rick2 42 Report post Posted July 20, 2008 Yesterday was too nice of a day to powerwash so I called the customer and told him I was having some problems with my equipment. Then I hooked up the boat to the truck. Sure beats powerwashing!
0 One Tough Pressure 580 Report post Posted July 20, 2008 They never would have known until you told everyone. No different than calling in sick to get a three day weekend, sometimes you just need to get away.

0 DAVID V 22 Report post Posted July 21, 2008 That looks like a great time. I miss my boat. Sold it before we relocated to MB. 19' Bayliner. Nice peaceful time with the family.
0 Rick2 42 Report post Posted July 21, 2008 Why did you sell your boat if you were moving to Myrtle Beach? I love getting out on the water for a late afternoon boat trip. The three year old boy (Patrick) is still a bit afraid of the water but he'll come around. Having the cabin is a nice feature. If Patrick gets too hot or tired I can just throw him in there to watch his DVD or play with his toys.
0 DAVID V 22 Report post Posted July 21, 2008 We didn't know where we going to live and what HOA restrictions there where when found a place. Someone came up with the cash I was asking. Got what I paid for it 4 or 5 yrs earlier

0 Rick2 42 Report post Posted July 22, 2008 I don't want to sound stupid... but,... why can't you just park it in the backyard?
0 DAVID V 22 Report post Posted July 22, 2008 Rick I could in Ohio, but here I live in a sub-division that doesn't allow that. That's where HOA restrictions come into play. There are a ton of rules with HOA's.
0 Rick2 42 Report post Posted July 22, 2008 Didn't know they could impose rules. The HOA would have a stroke if they saw my yard. My wife's SUV, my car. the company's truck, two powerwash enclosed trailers, a boat, and my little Triumph Spitfire. I have a good sized lot and everything is usually parked nice and neat. Usually. Oh, the snowplow for the truck too. Gotta downsize pretty soon.
0 DAVID V 22 Report post Posted July 23, 2008 If you have a wrap on your truck or car, you have to park it in the garage.
