Hello. I have really appreciated all the sharing of knowledge on this board. I have greatly benefited from it in the past. I'm hoping you can help me now with a question I have.
I want to try soda blasting, but all the sites I have checked out are not very informative. I want to blast wood, but am not sure if cob blasting or sodium bicarbonate blasting is better for wood.
Also, all the equipment sales sites just want to sell me the biggest and best stuff. What size compressor and hopper are really needed for this?
I'd really rather be able to mount it on a trailer, and not have to mortgage the house to do so.
There is a lot of boat hulls down here on the SC coast, not to mention all the rust everywhere here from the salt air. I think these 2 things show a real need for soda blasting.
I am in Charleston, SC, and would be interested in offering free labor in excnange for some training on soda blasting. Is anybody within a 250-300 mile radius of Charleston interested in helping me out?
thanks again for all your help over the years. Now I just want to have a blast.
