cwarrior 14 Report post Posted May 17, 2010 My unloader is leaking water out of the knob. The unloader is a AL607. Can this be repaired or needs replacement? Is it difficult to replace or repair? No repair shops within 70 miles of my area. Thanks, Mark
Chris Tharpe 40 Report post Posted May 17, 2010 easy repair just get another one and make sure the arrows point in the right direction when installing it. do a quick search on adjusting unloaders and you will find the answer easily but will need to have a pressure gauge unless you know a bit about what your doing. Jerry 24 Report post Posted May 17, 2010 Chris, you bust me up. :) Mark, by the time the "stem seal" leaks, the unloader is about worn out, BUT.. I see you are a bit isolated, so If you have to, pull it apart, replace all the obvious o-rings at the local hydraulics-suply shop, be CAREFUL to adjust it properly, as Chris stated, Click HERE for adjustment instructions . ..but DO get a replacement ASAP
