Wide brim hat over here in West Australia. Absolutly essential. Not enough hair to cover the ears & not much left up top to protect the old melon.

Columbia booney hats. They hold up ok (not great, but ok) to house wash. The ventilated crown keeps the noggin cool and the wide brim keeps off the hw mix and the sun. Both burn in the summer!
