How sharp is your vision? Where will you be in 1 year, 5 years 10 years?

One of the reasons people fail in business when they first start out, is that they lack vision, or fail to plan. If you fail to plan, then plan to fail.

Our daily lives are busy and jammed with tasks. It can be a challenge for anyone to be active rather than reactive. Setting aside time to think and plan is in my opinion, critical to the success of any business.

Do you know where you want to be in a year? In 5 years? In ten years? Have you thought about the tasks involved in getting there? What do you have to accomplish in order to meet the goals tied to these annual markers? How do the plans you are making affect your daily operations? What changes will you need to make in order to grow at a manageable pace?
