Limestone dust from quarry and cement plant on house and deck.

Hey everyone hope the season is going well for you!

I just got a call from a cement plant about a residential house next door that complained about the limestone dust all over her deck and partly on her house.

I have taken the dust off machinery years ago with muratic. Anyone have an idea what would take it off a wood deck and vinyl siding ?

I have taken the dust off machinery years ago with muratic. Anyone have an idea what would take it off a wood deck and vinyl siding ?

If it is just settled dust low pressure hot water with dawn downstreamed should pop it all off. We have cleaned the crushing towers of 4-8" of lime build up and only at the base where it is feet thick is pressure required.

turns out that may be all it is, I had it confused with a reddish film that was all over machinery at a quarry years ago. Muratic was all that would take it off.
