Burner Question

I was at a site last night and my heater cut out on me. Thought it was because i ran out of diesel, so filled that up restarted and same problem. I have a Hydrotek 3000 PSI, 5.0gpm, with 250 degree heater. The switch that you push to turn on the burner isn't clicking over. Usually there a small noise when you turn the dial and flip the switch, but nothing. The only thing I can think of is that it's not making a spark. Does anyone know how to troubleshoot a burner on a Hydrotek and what steps to take? Or if it might be something else.

You think ON/OFF switch is bad? When you turn the burner on is burner motor on and fan wheel inside burner is spinning?

A belt came loose so it's getting fixed as well as some other things done to it.
