What kind of wand is this?

Recommended Posts

This wand was found with some high pressure line in a garage that was cleaned out and given to myself. Does anyone recognize it and might be able to tell me what it is?

Looks like one that would come with a lower end homeowner machine, or home use steam cleaner. Note the Euro connect between the gun and lance. While they make those for higher presuures, they are many times found on smaller units as well.

If there is no marking on the gun or wand that say how much pressure it can take, then I say do not use it, as it may just blow apart in your hand.

Ok, I found a few markings on the gun. I could not find a name, but I did find this...

Max 170 Bar

Max 140 degrees C

Max 16L min

I also found out a little more history on the mystery wand, it was used commerically.

Connected to the wand was a pretty thick heavy duty pressure line.

Metric markings so should be easy to convert.

Max 170 Bar no idea what this stands for.

Max 140 degrees C convert to F and there would be be max temp.

Max 16L min convert to pounds and that would be max PSI.

I could be wrong since I don't know metric.

Yeah I am not up to par on metric either. Why is everyone in the world on the metric system but us for anyways? I'm thinking it's a pretty heavy duty wand, but could be wrong. Thanks to anyone who can help.
