Celeste 341 Report post Posted February 11, 2005 http://www.psfc.mit.edu/esh/caust.html Mr. Phelps posted this link on another board - there is some very good information - one might even want to include it in their MSDS book :)
newlook 265 Report post Posted February 11, 2005 Good link Celeste...I like the emphasis on storage procedures and the safety that needs to go into that to properly store the chemicals.
CCPC 26 Report post Posted February 11, 2005 definitely some good information. Allthough I think a lot of the personal saftey issues are a little unrealistic. I believe that everyone should adhere to the basics like: wearing a respirator, eye protection, and appropriate clothing, but lets face it, if I tried to follow the steps to ensure that I never make contact with any chemicals It would take me a week to finish what can now do in a day. I get chlorine in on my arms, hands and somtimes everywhere else on almost a daily basis and I can't see any reasonable way to prevent that from happening.
