Tim Polk 14 Report post Posted April 13, 2005 Just wanted to start looking at some to gather prices so I can start saving, saving, saving! lol.
One Tough Pressure 580 Report post Posted April 13, 2005 It is not just the surfacer, but a good vacuum as well. How much hose would you want to run will play a huge factor in which vacuum to choose.
Tim Polk 14 Report post Posted April 13, 2005 Probably 100-150 minimum. I was hoping for a website to start looking at different items to price.
One Tough Pressure 580 Report post Posted April 14, 2005 Alrighty then... http://www.nikro.com/products/moreinfo.asp?i=298 That with some modifications of a sump added will do you well. You will need a large generator as the vac motors alone are 13 amps each, plus the sump that will be around 9 amps.

Craig 111 Report post Posted April 14, 2005 Just to let you know, Tim, Alan put mine together and it's great. I've been using it now full time since November 2004. I'd say it gets about 3 to 7 running hours a day, 5 days a week (Vac and surface cleaner combo). It's the best thing EVER to help make you more successful. I can eliminate the need for rinsing on almost every job if I prep it right, which can save me hours. Plus, I can do restaurant interiors, garages, etc with no overspray and almost complete recovery. What you don't recover with it typically dries within the hour. Just stick with what Alan suggests... it works.

Craig 111 Report post Posted April 17, 2005 No, Alan, THANK YOU! A second machine is in the back of my mind but I'm holding off as long as I can. When I feel I'm losing money by only having one machine I'll give you a call for #2.. I may be interested in a setup like you have, this time.. Thanks CRaig
