wastewater Pump

Recommended Posts

I am looking for a pump that will handle hot water in the range of 190- 210 degrees. This will be mounted to the inside of my vacuum to pump the water to my reclaim system.

I had a regular sump pump, but it shuts down after the first 20 minutes due to the heat.

This pump will either need to be an auto on, or be able to run dry on occasion.

Any Ideas???

i think you need to get the pump out of the drum.

A float valve to turn it off and on.

mount pump to outside of drum and connect with piefittings through to bottom of the tank.

So the question is, if the pump is out of the vacuum tank and has a float valve to turn it on and off as does my other one. Then where will it get its water to float the valve, and how will the water get to the suction impeller?

Or are you implying that I install it into another bucket and run them in tandem. This being the case, it will still be subject to the heat.
