What do yall think

Question

I have this Roofing company that always calls me when they mess up vinyl siding with the shingles. They don’t protect enough of the siding and it leaves marks like a crayon. I use goof off and it gets 80-90% off but it leaves those cleaned spots with a dried chalky look and a slight brown shadow.

Tar sucks LOL.

Does anyone know of a better way to remove tar scratched on vinyl?

Does any one think a product like sil-o-wet will restore the appearance of the chalky look.

I thought that maybe even the product Restore might even work to restore the natural oils in vinyl.

Thanks for any of the help

Dan

after you apply the goof off you could spray some carnuba wax on the areas cleaned. It would have a shiney finish. I do it to vinyl with every house wash

and it leaves a shine like glass on any color vinyl. Just a thought, hoping that helps a little.

I've heard of using mayo LOL I'll give it a test try on some vinyl.

Does kerosene leave the area dried out?

I will give your ideas a test try thanks.

John your right around the corner maybe we should meet up and BS sometime.
