3.7 vs 5.5

Recommended Posts

Looking to invest in my first machine for housewashes, flatwork etc.. and I'm having trouble deciding between a couple of belt drive machines. A local dealer has a Mi-T-M pumping 3.7gpm @ 3700psi, however I found a machine online that pumps 5.5 @ 2500psi. The higher gpm's would be nice for the housewashing but the low psi's concerns me for doing concrete and powering a surface cleaner in the future. Both units have Honda 13Hp engines and the price difference between the two is only a couple of hundred bucks. Which machine do you feel would have served you best starting off your business and would have been the best long term investment?

Thanks, Dewy

If it were me in your position, I would keep shopping.

3000psi is high enough and 5-6 gpm's would make the work go much faster.

Finding this configuration on a machine shouldn't be too hard.

What's your budget?

Rod!~
