Something Intersting

Question

I was on a residential concrete cleaning job one day when a exterminator rolled up. He had a small truck and pulled out a hose and went right up to the house and started spraying the eves, around 20 - 30' high without problem. I asked him what kind of pump he was using and it was an OlHausen sp hooked up to a 100 gal chem tank?? I was amazed how the stream stayed when spraying that high. Can this be done with shur flo pumps? How many psi and what kind of tip do you use? Any one using this set up to apply chemicals?

Did you look at the pump? Many of these rigs run 1-200psi/11gpm roller pumps running of a 110V/1.5HP motor. That said, my garden hose (10gpm

/60psi) will darn near do that with a solid brass nozzle with a 1/8in (ish) orifice.

I bought a second hand skid and salvaged a 1.5hp motor, a 100-250 psi regulator, a 22gpm roller pump, some gauges, and a 14" summit hose reel.
