A warning on my box of TSP says not to mix it with bleach but I see other people here are doing just that. Safety issue? I would like to try it as long as I don't get a nasty reaction. Find the Chemical Reactivity Worksheet here http://response.restoration.noaa.gov/resource_catalog.php and download it. It will tell you byproducts produced by mixing specific chemicals. David O'Connell Jr. 14 Report post Posted April 19, 2006 Lowes and Home Depot have a product called TSP. However one of them really isn't, it a TSP substitute. We prefer to get ours from a pool supply store. We have mixed the real TSP with chlorine. It really makes the mix HOT. so watch out and be prepared. Tarp and Water! ..........Also I have noticed that with our pump we tend to leak if the mix is too hot. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
