ShopVac with pump out capability

I'm familiar with the bucket vac. What pumpout did you install in it and how?

We've been using the Lowes Blue one's with pumpout and throwing them away about every 6 months.

Tony (that video was funny) its what I had available, did not want to purchase anything more than I had too, had the pump in the garage already, a used float switch form a retired basement pump, and plumbed with 3/4" pvc and check. The little vac has impressive numbers on paper, i choose it because of amp draw vs performance, convenience and price.

Next build the pump would be upgraded.

Tony, I dont think it is recommended, run a float switch on it. I believe it can be run intermittently in low water conditions

Which Lowes pump you discard every 6 months?

Missed the float switch part.

Here is one of our lowes pumpout victims. Works great for a few months. Runs about $100

I thought about running the pump inside of a standard shop vac, but I could not find one that would keep the amp draw low as the Shop vac Bucket max. Plus you cant beat the $20 sticker
