What we think of each other Top Homeowner Complaints about Contractors; Work doesn't start on time. Contractor ups the price after job is underway. Contractor doesn't clean up the mess. Top homeowner nightmares; Contractor who does shoddy work. Contractor who makes romantic advances. Contractor who breaks or damages things. (tie) Contractor who wants to be your friend and talks all day. (tie) Contractor who uses the bathroom and doesn't flush. Top Contractor complaints about customers; Customer asks for additional work at no pay. Customer doesn't pay on time. Customer tries to renegotiate price after the job is finished. Top contractor nightmares; Customer continually asks you to change or redo your work. Customer doesn't pay on time. Customer talks all day so you can't get your work done. I am sure that (like me) everyone has had that customer that just wants a quote to do their house and you try to sell them on flat work and they don't want it until you are finished doing the house and then only want to pay house price.
