0 jgoral76 14 Report post Posted September 17, 2006 Mike for RV's I have had outstanding results using gutter zap from sunbritesupply and if you need more info do a search on rv cleaning.
0 Mike Sullivan 15 Report post Posted September 17, 2006 Mighty Max plus from Soap Warehouse also works well. Cheaper than gutter zap and stronger. Mighty Max plus has 10% butyl vs. 9% butyl in gutter zap. 1-800-SOAP-
0 jgoral76 14 Report post Posted September 17, 2006 How much cheaper you have mt attention.
0 Ron Strickland 14 Report post Posted September 18, 2006 AH!! but butyl is not the only ingredient in Gutter Zap.
0 Degraffreed 21 Report post Posted September 18, 2006 What other ingredient in Gutterzap. I like GZ but have used Purple Power in a pinch. GZ imo is the best out there. You get in and you get out. I brush on and rinse.
0 H2O PRESSURE 14 Report post Posted September 18, 2006 Purple Power has my vote LONG before any of the RV products. My wife and I lived in an RV for six years, and all of the "streak removers" I've seen were a joke. Waste of money. I'm very curious, though, how Gutter Zap can compete with PP. P Power is less than $5 a gallon at WallyWorld.

0 John Orr 206 Report post Posted October 2, 2006 Apply Simple Green with a soft bristle brush (I use a 24' extension pole from HD). At $8 or $9/gal, you can't beat it - and it works. For light streaks, wipe on, rinse of. For heavy streaks, wipe on, brush lightly, rinse off. On hot days, work smaller sections, rinse before it dries. I usually use SG full strength. Watch for gutter finishes that are not firmly attached! If your brush is tuning the same color as the gutter, go easy or you could expose aluminum. (This is true with any gutter cleaner.) 0 Richard 17 Report post Posted October 2, 2006 I've used the pp on gas station awnings. Straight through a pump sprayer. Worked fine. Next time I have some, I'll try my own gutters.
0 douseahouse 21 Report post Posted October 4, 2006 just a follow up on the new again gutter-renew...wow! i sprayed it on the gutters while they were still dry and just as soon as i finished spraying i hit it with my 3000psi (40 degree nozzle) throttled down low and the streaks came right off...immediately! i just got a sample bottle from the good folks at xterior of gutter zap so i'll give that one a shot next. according to you guys that stuff is really good too. good luck all, rando
0 WEW 14 Report post Posted October 5, 2006 Keth, it's in the cleaning or automotive section. It says "Purple Power" on it. You can ask one of their all seeing all knowing hosts with the "How can I help you" vest on. ISYHTRAH
0 DAVID V 22 Report post Posted October 5, 2006 I don't know if you have Dollar general stores in your area. Here in OHIO I get it there for 4.00 a gal. Purple Power that is.
0 Keth 15 Report post Posted October 5, 2006 Thanks to all. Found it in the Auto section at Wal-Mart for $4.67 gallon.
