Russ Johnson 141 Report post Posted November 3, 2006 If the terminal end of the supply hose is detachable, you could make an adaptor that is coupler plug to hose barb. When you're pumping anti freeze through the system, hook the adaptor up to your discharge hose and push the anti freeze back wards through the feed hose. Neil_Asheville 114 Report post Posted November 4, 2006 I'm covered on running antifreeze through my pump and hose reel and tanks at night, but how best do I keep supply line and reel from freezing up? Air compressor? I've been doing the portable electric heater on low at night. Nothing to say I can't continue doing this. This is a daily deal, not over-winter winterization.
