Hose In Chemical Bottle

Hi. I am new to the forum. I was wondering if there is a good way to keep the injection tube/filter in the chemical bottle? It seems to try to float and not get the liquid on the bottom. Any reply would be appreciated. Mark

The filter should keep it on the bottom, but if it doesn't, there is a ceramic weight you can buy or just use a stainless nut and run your hose through the center of it and put the filter on the end to keep it from falling off.

Thanks John. The weight is a great idea. Originally, I used a metal rod tied to the tube. The nut weight is a much simpler idea. Mark.

I use a 3' section of plastic pipe that the hose fits into with just a little encouragement. I added a filter to the bottom of the pipe. (I draw from 15 gallon containers, so I need the length to draw from the bottom.)

I think Rod uses (or at one time did) a clamp. He clamps the hose at the top of the bucket, with enough length to go to the bottom.

I put a used length of garden hose on the end of the chemical line. Just cut about a 16" length, remove the strainer from the chem line, insert the chem line through the garden hose, replace the strainer, and off you go.
