President Ford is gone and I just want to say goodbye. From what I knew about him and the many tributes about him recently he just seems like a good honest man who tried to do the right thing, from his humble beginnings to President..........God Bless you Mr. President

Agreed and to think I voted for Jimmy Carter..oh wait no thats not right. I voted for Jimmy Carter over Ronald Reagan..what was I smoking back then:)

He was a great steward of the position and should have been elected to fill a term or two of his own. Who knows, maybe things would be much different than they are now.
