Pure Pressure 14 Report post Posted March 26, 2007 Ever since I purchase my new trailer and put my pressure washer on it, I have noticed that it is VERY difficult to pull start. It feels like it is locking up and when I do get it to pull, I am getting gas dripping out of the exhaust. I am thinking that I am getting gas in the carb. due to the exesive bouncing around. Am I right? would a simple fix be to put a ball valve in the gas line and turn it off before traveling or is it something else?
Russ Johnson 141 Report post Posted March 27, 2007 What brand of engine? Most, if not all engines, have fuel shut offs. Bring it on up...we'll take a look at it.

Paul Kassander 26 Report post Posted March 29, 2007 sounds like a briggs small engine, I have had the same problem with my generator I use on my recollestion system. Once I started turning off the gas between jobs it worked much better.
