Hang-time

Question

I just purchased a thickening agent (Hang-Time) for my stripper mix. I am frustrated with trying to get the verticals stripped on decks. The stripper runs off (no cling) or dries way to fast for me...Do thickeners really help/work?. Can others share there experiences using thickeners?.......

We have used Hang Time, the only problem we have is it seems to keep thickening or at least the batch we got a couple years ago was like that. We have recently added foamer to our mix (not as thick as Anthony's but it still clings) and are happy with the results.

The Hang-Time directions say to mix with water first.. I have about 3 gallons of F-18 stripper in a 5 gallon container (already mixed with water)...Has anyone tried putting the Hang-Time into a batch of stripper with success?...I want to try this stuff out tomorrow......

That will not work. If you try to add the Hang Time to the pre-mixed caustic solution, it will turn to a gelatinous glob of goo and sink to the bottom of your pail.

I would recommend using Hang-Time only as directed.

What about mixing a little "Hang Time" with the foam. Would that be the ultimate kick butt mixture? I know Josh was saying that he puts a little gel in with his foam mix, gotta be pretty similar eh?
