suzuki98 14 Report post Posted June 15, 2007 After I changed nozzle today from x jet to turbo, my q.c. shot the turbo nozzle out and after I put it back on, I got wet. Water was coming out above and below the connection. Should I scrap it and buy another or is there an o-ring in there? I havent had a chance to look at it yet. Thanks
copgib 15 Report post Posted June 15, 2007 Check for the o-ring I am sure you blew it out! Replace it and you should be back in business. Hugh
One Tough Pressure 580 Report post Posted June 15, 2007 Not locking the quick coupler on the item you inserted will cause it to launch, and usually the o-ring goes with it. No reason to scrap something over a .10 cant part.
suzuki98 14 Report post Posted June 17, 2007 thx guys that was it. I got the coupler off and the o-ring was missing

Tmrrptr 164 Report post Posted June 17, 2007 Suzuki98 ???? Well, there's the import mentality. It fizzled, better scrap it and buy a new one. It would take less time to check for a bad O ring than to wank on the BB. Time for a new rig @ 0 down and $344/mo 84mos... Sheesh! I just had my kid pull the defunct engine off a Troybilt Horse Rototiller I gathered recently. There are certainly newer and better designed machines in every field of endeavor, but for some reason old iron just never gives up. saruki98.... Tmrrptr 164 Report post Posted June 18, 2007 Suzuki98, Sry. Guess I had a bad day or something. Wish an O ring woulda fixed mine! Glad yuo're back operational and fix was quick and easy. ...another good thing abt the BB... reminder to buy O rings. Seems most the vender supporters have 'em on sale now, too. r
suzuki98 14 Report post Posted June 19, 2007 I have launched my share of tips also, but never my turbo. How far did it go? And did u have to rebuild the turbo? My turbo nozzle launched about 8 ft. I actually was still using it after I lost the o ring (had to rinse the bleach!). Got a little wet but it still worked. I havent tried it after the new o-ring, hopefully nothing in the turbo blew! Tmrrptr 164 Report post Posted June 19, 2007 Hello Don, Well, I stumble into wank mode, from time to time... When life gives you lemons, make lemonaide ! My prob is, I show up w the best ever, and they want orange juice. But it's all good. Those folks in Texas are having a rough time... and the 9 firemen trying to save someone's building. Bagdad, Darfur... We've got it good! r
