0 John Doherty 126 Report post Posted July 7, 2007 Bleach seems to only lighten organic matter, cotton in clothes, grass etc.
0 AMERICANPOWERWASH 14 Report post Posted July 11, 2007 I make it a point to stay away from matts and rugs with soap.Generally speaking, the areas in question are on a front porch or patio and i just use water to clean these areas. If the areas are filthy I will hand clean with very little soap
0 John Orr 206 Report post Posted July 11, 2007 If you had tried to rinse that same carpet before you had gotten soap on it, it would have foamed and taken forever to rinse clean. The secret is to not use a lot of pressure. Rinse form one end to the other with your black chem tip.
0 PressureMax 14 Report post Posted July 26, 2007 Hey Don, Janitorial supply stores carry small bottles of liquid (or powder) de-foamer that carpet cleaners use. It works fast and doesnt take much. Might be nice to have next time.
