NewYorkBoraPL 22 Report post Posted July 10, 2007 I bought a used MITM 3005 SUPRA HOT unit last November and the pump does need a rebuild. The unfortunate part is that there is no ID number or brand name on the pump. I am sending these photos over to MITM tech support so they can distinguish if it is in fact there original pump. They use General and Cat I beleive. Well anyone want to take a guess at what it is?
One Tough Pressure 580 Report post Posted July 10, 2007 Looks like an older version of a General to me. Sure is not a CAT.
Russ Johnson 141 Report post Posted July 10, 2007 The 30005 should have a TS2021 General Pump on it.

Hotwaterwizard 33 Report post Posted July 10, 2007 Can you tell me if there are any Numbers stamped into the shaft of this General Pump? It is a General for sure. The manufacture and Date are printed on the bottom of the case if you look at the little Round Mold stamp
Hotwaterwizard 33 Report post Posted July 10, 2007 Snapshot the bottom of the case and a close up the shaft center of the pulley.

MMI Enterprises 289 Report post Posted July 10, 2007 I've same number machine and General pump basically but with different head material.. 3k@4.8gpm I believe. Mine has sticker saying Mitm model 3000. Very common pump housing/head. Lots of models use same kits. I might of bought up Johns last packing/check valve kit on hand though.. :)
