Turtle Wax out of concrete?

Got a call this morning that a guy had sprayed turtle wax on his tires and got some on his driveway. He said that when it rains, it looks like there is a sealer on the driveway in 4 little spots. He wants me to get it off, will hot water get rid of that or do I have to go the chemical route?

If you are able to get it out, it will probably take some kind of Caustic. NaOH preferably. He might be happier if you sealed the whole driveway with the stuff.

I have heard (never tried it) that butyl will break down the silicones in tire dressing...

I still have tire dressing on my drive from almost 10 years ago! I sometimes think about spraying the whole drive. It seems to be an awesome sealer.

In my experience they are there to stay,

I figured out what it was when someone sprayed their rubber boots with a waterproof spray....Looked liked hang-ten footprints on driveway!!

To me thats proof that sealing concrete works!

The guy that lives across the street from me has the same problem. It's been there for over a year. I don't think it really bothers him.
