0 StainlessDeal 16 Report post Posted July 21, 2008 Nope. Don't plan to either.Beth No, seems a little spooky to me. B-n-R, you beat me to it, I was going for exactly the same wording until I saw your post. EZ, have you ordered from them? Looks like Chinese consume-grade products, I have to wonder what the draw would be. I have some friends that have bought ©honda equipment like generators, trash pumps, and even motorcycles, all with the same results: A short period of poor performance at first, but once broken in, they have all reported TOTAL FAILURE. I actually own a Chinese manufactured rifle that functions perfectly, every time, but that may be because the Russian design is so simple and tried and true, that even the Dremel-tool machineing can't destroy it. Consumer-grade Chinese knock-off equipment is generally substandard in fit, finish, metallurgy, and parts placement in assemby. One buddy of mine bought a chinese-manufacture knockoff of a russian Ural motorcycle (itself a knockoff of the 1935 German BMW) and all the parts were present, but of the many different springs in various assemblies, less than half were in the correct positions. What's more, one head was assembled and shipped with the gasket folded in half. Save yourself the trouble, and buy from reputable dealers of recognizable brands.:)
0 big mike 14 Report post Posted July 22, 2008 Good example here. I just bought a shovel (long handle spade), the cheaper one for around ten bucks. Got it home and was planning on moving a couple of plants around. Looked at the thing and the metal had a 3" long crack in it. I turned it over and guess what? "Made in China" was stamped on it. I'll never make that mistake again. I've had similar experiences with the cheaper version of stainless QC fittings. They've all failed in record time, and usually at inopportune times. Buy American, I'm sure they do!!
