Remember vividly when JFK was shot. In my 5th grade class, the announcement came over the school speaker system. Will never forget my teacher, Miss Anstein, breaking down in tears.

I remember sitting in my office, hearing the news on the radio and it was right before a sales meeting. I sent text messages to Rod's nextel, he was in the chiropractor. I knew 4 people down in the Pentagon, thankfully none were killed. I knew two people who were supposed to be in the twin towers who weren't. We all went into the sales meeting, and were out in about 5 minutes, no one could discuss business. Then I remember getting three different dismissal times for the schools in email notices (our schools have an alert list) and on radio. The office I was in closed at that point and sent everyone to deal with their kids and to go home and watch the news.
