lesterj2 14 Report post Posted September 19, 2009 A customer I have been working with for the last 4 years has some white paint on her red bricks. I told her I wasnt sure about getting it off without harming the brick. What could I use that would be the least expensive way. I was thinking of scrubbing with a wire brush... 0 tinsley 14 Report post Posted September 20, 2009 not sure how much paint is on the brick but i would try hot water on it first and at the first site of something i would scrub it. You can always start farther away from the surface and move in. I have had some just come right off

0 Rick2 42 Report post Posted September 20, 2009 Have you looked into soda blasting? I don't know much about it but I've seen "before and after" pictures and it seems to do a good job.

0 Dirtbuster 14 Report post Posted September 21, 2009 I have used Muratic Acid before with some success. You will have to play with the dwell time & strength to see what works the best. PS: Don't burn the brick!
