Clean Ipe w/o PWing

I've got an Ipe deck this week with some unique challenges. The entire deck is completely enclosed...wood is two years old, never sealed just gray and dusty from construction.

The way this porch is constructed keeps out all rain whatsoever. The entrance from the outside has an actual door with frame and you step down to get into the deck. Two sides of the deck are enclosed with drywall (recently painted)

Due to the way the walls are build around the porch the only place water can drain is through the floor (there are no edges for water to escape over the edge.

My concern is powerwashing with the drywall there. I could try to tape and cover but I'm not sure how effective that will be.

Can I use a percarb, scrub it in and rinse with only a hose? I've never washed a deck this way especially IPE and I'm accustomed to having some benefit of pressure when rinsing. Will probably apply acid with a pump up around the edges to keep any splashing onto the drywall.

Absolutely. Although we have never done this with percarbs. we do a maintenance cleaning of ipe' frequently with a bleach/soap mix, lightly scrub with a soft brush on a pole, and rinse off with a hose at faucet pressure. Allow to dry and then stain.

Sand it.

Get a large orbital sander, vacuum up the debris, wipe down with a wet cloth, let dry and seal it.

I have used a wet vac, a steam cleaner and something else in these situations. Steam cleaner is cool to clean with( i have one). You can just use your buffer and vac it then spritz an acid on
