Shadow Box Fence Cleaning

Question

My neighbor asked me to clean his shadow box stly fence. I've cleaned and stained many wood fences, but do not have experience with this type of fence. Anyone recommend an efficient process to clean the fence as it doesn't seem possible to get every section of wood? And how much to charge? Recommend a good wood cleaner?

Thanks,

Mark

Saw this post on PT as well Mark.

I have to ask, are you staining as well or simply cleaning it.

If you are cleaning it , then, what Fen Kenner said is good to go.

However If you are staining use some ox acid afterwards to neutralize and brighten the wood afterwards.

Give it a couple days to dry, then have at it with the staining process, get paid and meet me at the next Jimmy Buffet concert.

I think after the last one I did, after calculating MH, I decided to go with 2x my normal rate.

Is it possible to to only clean and stain one side of these or would the stain/cleaner discolor the other side too badly?
