0 Douglas Hicks 128 Report post Posted December 4, 2011 our parade was today. Our Lions club set up coffee and hot chocolate, and the burn barrels with mill ends to keep the fires going. The parade came by, the theme was What I want for Christmas. The church floats expanded with "What I want for Christmas is Christ in Christmas". Then the tree lighting took place. The lights did not come on for several minutes, and several tries. Lion Steve, the announcer took it in stride. Lion Steve also works for the local power company. Then we went to dinner. I went home, and Dee went back to work.

0 Celeste 341 Report post Posted December 4, 2011 This was by far the most interesting appearance in our Christmas parade yesterday! And yes, that is a child, in a saddle, on the back of that beast! You might be a redneck.....
