0 Beth n Rod 1,279 Report post Posted June 15, 2015 What kind of sealer did you use? Were there any spills noted or defects revealed after the wash? The only thing similar I have seen is when guys sweat on a deck and the stain looks much lighter where the drops landed. Doubt that is the case here but I would ask the customer what the history is.Just a wash may not be able to deal with it if there was a requirement of a specific type of chemical to strip any of this residue. 0 windycitysteam 0 Report post Posted June 20, 2015 Yeah I had a similar problem using a sealer from Home Depot, always best to go through a supplier and use a high quality sealer.
0 John T 744 Report post Posted June 20, 2015 Looks like your going to have to strip out the sealer and redo the job probably with a better more reputable sealer being applied.
0 mick m 19 Report post Posted June 20, 2015 If you used a solvent based sealer, I'd say it wasn't given enough time to dry, with the trapped moisture rising to the surface as the day heats up,Or, contaminated thinners, if used.
