CCPC 26 Report post Posted July 3, 2005 I was wondering if someone wouldn't mind sharing a picture of how they have their bypass hose rigged to their water tank.
One Tough Pressure 580 Report post Posted July 3, 2005 Will have to take one, but it is simple. I drilled a hole slightly smaller than my barbed fitting and then screwed the threaded end into the tank, near the top.
CCPC 26 Report post Posted July 3, 2005 What kind of hose is preffered for this? Can you use some common 3/8" polybraid? Where do you put the fitting on the tank for the water coming from the tank to the inlet of the pump? Somewhere near the bottom I suppose? Thanks again! One Tough Pressure 580 Report post Posted July 3, 2005 The bypass is a low pressure line so that poly braid hose is perfect. The water supply from the tank to the pump should be as close to the bottom as possible to allow for gravity feed, as well as suction.

PLD 14 Report post Posted July 5, 2005 Mine is just dropped into a hole in the top. For non-tank applications I pull it out and spoil to the ground.
