Ipe and cedar porch

We just finished an ipe and cedar porch. The floor is ipe, the 4x4 supports and ceiling are cedar. We stripped it to removed an over applied and failing penofin. Attached are the clean and the sealed shots. The hand rails are trex, and so is the outer deck, although there is a western red cedar arbor out there.

Of the floor? No. The ceiling? Yes. I have a couple more shots to post, one of the floor, one of the ceiling. The way the light acts ( pretty dark back there) the ceiling will look bright so put on your shades... :cool:

Thanks Ken. We do too. There is another one we just finished that I'll put a couple of pics up for. Best thing about the second one, is the cedar wall on the back. Interesting design.

That privacy wall must have been fun. How much time did you have into that job?

Took about....5 hours to seal the deck and wall, and two sections of fence (not in photos), two people working during that blasted heat wave. Customer hosed us down at the end. It was like being a kid in the sprinkler!
