Removing glue residue on box truck??

I heard that Oven Easy off spray is the best way to remove the lettering glue that is left on a surface after the letters are taken off. In this picture here you can see the where the letters where and also the big rectangle on the back of the truck that is there from a big sign that was removed. What is the best way to remove this residue??

I'm not sure I would spray easy off on all that pretty aluminum.

I use rubbing alchol to remove decal residue from cars.With that much area to cover it would take you several hours.

Thanks Scott. I'll do a little sample on my truck to see which works best. Kind of like when I do a sample spot on a potential powerwashing job.

D'limonene based cleaners work great. Saturate it well, let it sit, wash with hot water. I helped a guy de-glue an old florist van. Piece of cake.

try a swatch area with WD40........ yep........ WD40. I picked that up on this forum when I first joined. Tried it at my rental car acct. and it does work. You have to clean very very deep after and wipe with dry towel. It may takes a little extra time. but it works!

K1 or diesel will work. Put it on a rag wipe it on let dwell for 10-20 min's and it should wipe off

I used denatured alcohol on one side and mineral spirits on the other. Mineral spirits left less residue. It was a PITA!!!! Did I say it was a PITA??? lol
