squirtgun 122 Report post Posted January 17, 2006 I was given 2 stainless steel fire exstinguishers today,they are the air charged type usually filled with water. Could I covert them to be used as chem sprayers? I have an air tank I can use to chareg them with while on a job site. Do you think a regular pump up sprayer wand will hold up? squirtgun 122 Report post Posted January 17, 2006 Alan, The pics are long gone from your old thread.How has the FE worked out for you?I also thought there was a need for a longer hose but,would prefer some kind of adjustable tip versus having to stop and change tips.How much air(psi) does it take to charge them? One Tough Pressure 580 Report post Posted January 18, 2006 I am limited in the air dept, so was never able to get a full charge. It worked well for spraying the driveway and sure beats a pump up.
