I Can't Believe I'm the First to Say This...

Question

Beth & Rod, I really like the new avatar! You looked perfectly pleasant in the old one, but this new elegant look is just what the doctor ordered. It makes us all feel a little bit more elegant when we dress up, and puts us on our best behavior, I've noticed that I tend to straighten up and remove my hat these days as I open TGS for each session.;) The problem is that now I feel like I should shower and change clothes after a workday, before I attend the new "Black Tie" GrimeScene. lol

Seriously, you two look great in both avatars.:lgbow:

Well thank you! Rod is the one who actually suggested a new avatar for us. He was tired of the other one. We don't get dressed up too often, just for a special occasion. Glad you like the avatar. :)

Beth

p.s. there is a larger version of it in our profile as our profile photo.

I thought the same thing about the avatar but didn't want to embarass ya'll.

Rod has a pretty serious look and a grin. Did the photographer make ya'll say something like "pizzzaaaa"? Or was Rod looking at the 2 million boardfeet of teak on the boat and trying to figure a pitch for the maintenance contract?:lgmoneyey

Beth you mean to say if Remy and I took a cruise we would have to dress up?

I don't even own a suit let alone a tie so no way would I dare do that.

Guess that leaves cruises out.

I think it is related to the evening meal. Just avoid the dining room that night.

Yeah, it was related to the evening meal.

And Scott, the teak on that ship was beautiful. They perform their own washing service on it (yes we saw) and they do not seal the wood. They just keep washing it... They have maintenance people for everything on that ship.
