Down Streaming 300ft of hose

I have 300ft of pressure washer hose. I can not seems to get enough chemical draw with trying to downstream. Is this too much hose? I just have a general chemical injector coming out of my machine with 3/8 inch hose to draw chemical. My hose goes into the top of my tank. Do I need to draw from the bottom? I have always used the xjet but would love to down steam as well. Please give me some advice.

I have found 200 ft to be the longest length with effective draw. I notice the difference at 250 and the chem starts getting too weak.

If you are just using the hose to get distance you can put it in the middle and set up your bucket there with the chem and not drag around the extra chem hose like the x jet.

Use a smaller size oriface than is recommended. I used to have a 4gpm machine and now I use a 9.3 gpm and both had 300 ft of hose I never had problems injecting 300 ft of hose. Just my .02 worth. I have heard other posts on here saying that only works on higher gpm machines but when I had a 4 gpm it worked like a charm for years. I guess everybody has their own opinion.

Use a Downstream injector with a 1.8 orifice.
