Shurflo vs The deckster

Question

This is for the ones that have used the deckster and the shurflo. This question is reguarding fence staining. Which one of the 2 products causes less overspray and why? I know that some of you sell these 2 products, but unfortunately I rather buy it here local and save on the shipping cost. I just want your professional opionions. Thanks

I am not so sure that it is directly related to the pump. The spray pattern and droplet size is determined by the nozzle and the pressure behind it. While the pump supplies the pressure and volume, nozzles have different patterns and atomization potentials.

Cone -vs- fan may be an applicable discussion to pursue in order to shed light on your question.

Israel,

IMO, a Decker 5'er with the Pump Tec pump has no equal for stain spraying. With adjustable pressure, continuous pump, and flow control on the wand, its a no brainer.

Had a TGS member's brother in law use mine last year to spray his fence. Took him less time than me cleaning it and he never had overspray or worked up a sweat. Priceless.

I have not used my deckster for fences but I will not use a surflow any more. The deckster works great and you can adjust the pressure. I got mine from Sunbrite Supply. I don't think anyplace else has the deckster.
