Landa Water Jet

Recommended Posts

I have a Landa Water Jet. Is it normal for water to weep from the bottom of the hub? I weeps with hot and cold water. How do I know if it is an o-ring or the spinner? If it is an o-ring, is it difficult to change? Thanks!

If it and oring it easy to change, Not to disregard what Paul’s telling you because you may have and oring.

Mine have no changeable ring on that part of the equipment.

They often leak from the rotary union and it can be re-built. Mine often leak months before we change them.

Does yours have grease fitting on the unit?

If it does grease the unit, it takes and special grease that’s not automotive. Often people put auto lube in them and this tears the sealed fittings up.

Sorry that was what i meant, like Ron said, on the inside when you rebuild it not the outside. I have yet to see a union that you dont have to take completly apart to get at the oring that fails. Usually right on top by the inlet.
