    Ego vs. Giving Back

Support local charities and help people in your community who need it. Keep it between you, them, and God.

Here's the link to the FB event: https://www.facebook.com/events/675847835773916/ The full convention website and info will be posted here on TGS as soon as it is up but you have the confirmed date and location for next year. Watch the Convention forum for full details. The 2013 Pressure Washing Convention was the largest, most exciting pressure washing event in recent years and 2014 is going to blow it away. We are doubling the size of the trade show and moving the keynotes into the fabulous Delta ballroom. The Gaylord Opryland is an incredible resort and this is an awesome opportunity to combine a tax deductible family vacation with the biggest pressure washing event of the year.

    Ego vs. Giving Back

I always give to the local charities in my area. I bought a calendar today for 15 dollars. It was being sold for the non profits in town. I had the chance to pick where it went so I chose the recreation department. I always try and buy local also. I would rather support the local hardware merchant than Lowes or Home depot. He might be 3 or 4 dollars more but it would take me an hour and $10 in gas to get sandpaper and plastic.

    End of wood season question

I didn't accept the 1/2 down they offered. It just felt like too much, and I did have thoughts like Adrian stated above. I went with my standard contract that is required by Pennsylvania. The state doesn't specify a % down for these contracts, but suggests 20% as a common down payment.
