  6. Disinfecting a deck

Dog, cat, it doesn't matter. My suggestion would be the same. If one can't afford them, I offered an alternate to continuing to damage the property. Rescue animals need attention and lots of it in order to be successful. Money is another requisite in order to make sure the animals are medically cared for. Keeping them outside for 8-10 hours a day in an unhealthy environment is not good for them either. I am sure that Mathew understands this and is part of the reason for his inquiry here. My concern is for the deck that he has mentioned which as we all know can be expensive to maintain in itself. Add to that the defecation and urination which creates a bio-hazard to all the inhabitants is leading to an expensive remedy. He needs to either eliminate the problem or locate them to another area where they can do their business. The bigger the dog the more space they need to run and release their energy. Mathew may not have that and that is why I make the suggestions I do. Rod!~

  8. This was Scary

We had a customer do that with windows we cleaned. He took photos and showed them to us on TV as a slide show, then went through the house and showed me each window and put blue tape on it. It was one of those cases where if you stood a certain way, and the light came through the window a certain way at a certain time of day you could see a small (tiny) faint smudge. In one case it was an exterior water drop and it had rained since we did them. People like that are everywhere. Be glad you don't have to take off all that blue tape. Beth

  12. one messy video

I saw a building come down once. Happened to be in DC one night driving friends around to see sights. Stopped at an intersection, red light, and the building in front of us came down - straight down. Whoosh! Didn't think of it at the time, but they must have known what they were doing since none of the debris hit the car. It was pretty cool. Beth
  13. Disinfecting a deck

My responses in blue: Here's another school of thought and it has to do with being practical and not trying to be fecicious...Since you are broke have you thought about giving the pets to another home until your finances improve to support them? The money you could save on food alone would be significant enough to help in other areas and by eliminating the source of the continuous contamination you will also save yourself a great deal of money later by not having to replace the decking. my .02 Rod!~

  19. How do you like your Turkey?

It's that time of year again folks. It's turkey time. Over the past few years we have seen a number of stores begin to offer turkey fryers. Our family has been frying turkey for a long time. I was wondering who else has made the switch from oven roasting to deep frying? Never heard of it? As I understand it, it began as a Cajun tradition in Louisianna. (according to Dad) Turkeys are fried in peanut oil. In many cases they are infused with a marianade, although it is not required. I can tell you I have found first hand the flavor is better and the bird is juicier, and since you fry them at a high temp, they are not the slightest bit greasy... Fry or roast? Don't forget to VOTE.... Enjoy! Beth;)

Who thinks this stuff up? What can possible make them think it would work, and how does the poor sap with the car explain that to his insurance company? "um yeah, I was hit by a chunk of dead whale!" Beth

  25. Sorry all

Thank you John, we were away at ACR. I want to thank the Mods here who did a great job in moving things off the forums, Thanks to Alan, Carlos and Russ. Just to make sure everyone knows, we don't tolerate that kind of behavior here. Marko is gone. Anyone who treat the forums like that will be handled the same way. What he did was basically spamming. It was disrespectful not just to us as admins, but to the Moderators who spent their time cleaning it up, and to the members who certainly do not come here for that type of behavior or content. I also want to thank the members who used the Report Posts feature to alert staff to the problems when they began. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you, and enjoy the forums. Beth :groovy3:
