Commercial pressure washing in maryland lead
gutterdog posted a question in Residential Pressure Washing
I got this call today for a commercial pressure washing service here in Maryland. I'm realy stoked!!! Here is my question. I really want the job, be a great start to the new year! Gutterdogs did 2 commercial power washings right down the street, last year! If you had before and after pics, of those jobs, would you include them with the email???- 4 replies

Brush no. Leaf blower yes. I agree with Rod there are companies out there advertising real low prices. And if the roof isnt walkable and the multi sets with the ladder has to cost more or call somebody else. There is plenty of work out there, that is willing to pay a fair price.

Upselling for wax, to me. seems like a rip off to the customer? We include it for free. But that just me. The cost to add it is just so small. Lot's of guys charge extra for it. More money in your pocket, and extra value to the HO. Down the road I may charge extra for it.

Residential customer is grilling me about chemicals
gutterdog replied to MaineWindowCleaning's question in Residential Pressure Washing
I just say soap. If they ask what kind, and its a roof, I say roof soap. There biggest concern, most, is it gonna kill something. Damage something. void a warranty. Show confidence, Maintain control of the conversation. Ask for the job. Today! (the contract) None of the stuff hurts anything, we use, hurts anything, if managed properly. Here is a lil joke. When they have to know what I use. I ask them if they are my competition? Or thinking about it? lol! Sold those too! -

I add a wax to the house wash mix. It makes a difference vs, no wax. -
Hey Rick! The bungee cord story, reminds me about 5 years ago, I was taking off a ladder. The bungee cord came loose and cut my forehead open, LOL!! After the blood stopped spilling on the road, I cleaned the guys gutters and moved on. Glad I have both eyes!! Also I'm very carefull now with bungee cords!
